Mehran Kamrava is Professor of Government at Georgetown University Qatar. He also directs the Iranian Studies Unit at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies. An expert on Iran, the Persian Gulf, and the politics of the Middle East, Kamrava is the author of a number of journal articles and books.
